Reading - Before break we started non-fiction. and you were given a worksheet to complete defining the different types of non-fiction. Today we will discuss that worksheet. Tomorrow we will start a new story "A Slave". Tuesday we will do the vocab and definitions. Wednesday and Thursday we will read the story. Friday we will answer questions about the story. Next Monday we will have a review and next Tuesday we will plan to have the Test on "A Slave".
Writing - The research paper outline was due before break. If you did not hand it in, it must be handed in immediately. You also were suppose to have 15 note cards completed. Likewise, if you do not have 15 cards done you must complete them this week. Be sure to have Mrs. Muldoon check in your outline and cards when completed. Mid-January your rough draft will be checked. Math - Chapter 1 TEST tomorrow. In class today, we reviewed the actual test, and I held a review session in math tutoring after school today. If everyone reviews again on their own tonight I'm sure we'll see many A's.
Social Studies - We are on Chapter 5 Section 2 and this week each student will be starting their Powerpoint Presentation (storyboards) on Primary and Secondary Sources.
Science - Today we went to the library to work on our research paper. Tuesday is the Station Model TEST. Wednesday will be a lab activity. Be sure to complete your online weather data.
Health - Wednesday TEST for those who missed the vocab. test on Dec.17th
