EXTENDED WEEKEND and HAITI HELP

Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL, on Monday the 18th, in observance of Martin Luther King Day. A great time for you to take advantage of this time off to work on your ELA Research Paper and SS Power Point Project. Enjoy your extended weekend! See you on Tuesday.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This year I am in charge of the 5th and 6th grade Honor Society. We are now collecting for Haiti. A great time for spring cleaning! We will accept anything, but keep in mind food items must be non-perishable! Just think of the clothes, shoes, sheets, blankets, toys, etc. that you haven't used for a year. Don't forget soap, shampoo, and the babies need diapers. How would you feel if when you got home, your home wasn't there, everything was gone? Disasters could happen to any of us and we need to help those that can't help themselves. Haiti people have nothing, so anything you can give, gently used or new items, please bring to the PCA Haiti drop boxes or directly to Mrs. Jilek. I will also accept monetary donations, "Change to make a Change", everyone has loose change around the house. This money will help with the water and medical supplies that are so desperately needed; and be assured it will ALL go to Haiti. In a month, many will forget about Haiti, but the Honor Society will be collecting until the end of the school year. Thank you and God Bless you for helping!
